Mt. Daraitan paradise at 738 MASL

Mt. Daraitan, one of several mountains just a few hours away from Metro Manila to offer breath taking natural view. At around 738 MASL, this paradise at the southern most part of Sierra Madre mountain range can be a big challenge especially for beginner.

The decent is more challenging than the ascend. You need to be careful, the trail is perilous and unstable. What waiting on your descent is rewarding, a beautiful tinipak rock formation and tinipak cave. The river posses pristine fresh water flowing freely toward the plains of Rizal while the cave on the other hand hides the best underground pools.
