Tasmania Trip Photo Journey Day 1 & 2

in #photography6 years ago (edited)

A few weeks ago I travelled to Tasmania with my sister, to visit some friends we hadn't seen for a few years.

Day 1
My sister and I landed at Hobart airport quite late and got to see the sunset from the plane. We arrived at our friends' house late and unpacked for the night, falling asleep pretty quick.

Day 2
We woke up, had a tour around our friends' little farm and got to meet some chickens and bunnies. We went out to Hobart to do a bit of shopping and pick up some warmer clothes. We then drove to New Norfolk to the Patchwork Cafe where one of our friends works. We got some coffee and chatted a bit before taking a walk around. The area is surrounded with old buildings and cars, with a little green oasis where the cafe is.

A vintage shop in one of the old buildings.

Inside the shop.

After our stroll around we found a few daisies around, collected them up and went into the cafe. There we got a bit more coffee and created daisy chains.

To finish the day, we headed back to the house, picking up some donuts on the way and had some fun playing games.

Call the RAA for that car, see how long you can keep a straight face when he gets there :)
Love Tasmania. Haven't seen much of it, but the North West is spectacular, the rivers are so clear and crisp.

I have no idea if we went by those rivers, we just traveled around :)
