Greetings, photography lovers and fans of other visual arts. I'm back this week with some close-ups of a flower and its pistils.
Thanks to Google Lens, I discovered that this is an ornamental plant, meaning it's cultivated in gardens and pots to beautify the space. However, here in my country, it's considered a weed, as it grows freely in any area where it finds good soil.

It's a shrub whose scientific name is Turnera ulmifolia. I've seen it as a creeping plant, barely 20-25 centimeters tall, up to a leafy shrub over a meter high.
Its beauty lies in its lovely flowers, with light and bright colors, ranging from yellowish-white to a striking yellow. This is complemented by a pungent color on the underside and pistils that are sometimes orange or a bright yellow.
It's very pleasing to the eye to look at. I made some digital adjustments to these photos, adjusting the saturation and sharpness. I hope you enjoy them.
