Urtica dioica, frequently called stinging nettle,
common nettle or saöy(although not each and every one plants of this species sting) or grate leaf, is a herbaceous perpetual pinnacle place in the family Urticaceae. It is native to Europe, Asia, northern Africa, and North America, and introduced elsewhere. The species is at odds into six subspecies, five of which hold numerous hollow callous hairs called trichomes on the foliage and stems, which behave like needle needles, injecting histamine and other chemicals that produce a hurtful and burning sensation upon contact ("contact urticaria").The pot has a sustained history of make use of accepted medicine, food, and tea.
