The tropical storm that hit Oahu this past week left areas washing in floods. As our storm drains picked up the pace and the winds subsided we took the bridge over the Old Pali and went through the jungles to see the waters blowing off Manoa's Falls!

The jungle's canopy was thick and wet and the wind off the mountain tops was surreal as we hiked along up toward the peaks.

The sound of water rushing along the stream was with us through the whole hike~ we'd never heard the area so alive in song from the winds, waters and birds playing in the treetops!

Vines stretched downward as happily as the trees climbed up making the streams of light through the utter green today dizzying~ it was so alive in growth.

Wet mosses, air plants and vines covered the trees and the fragrance of ginger flowers filled the air as we explored today.

We were so happy to be outdoors again after being house bound. We hope everyone finds beauty in the world after the storms that rage so rampantly this season.
