Tunnel in an Underground WWII Hospital - LessHorrible Photos

This is a connecting tunnel in an underground WWII hospital built by the German army. It is an eerie place and one has to think about the people who had to work here, never mind the patients who were treated here.

I love visiting old historic sites and imagining to be part of it while it was fully functional. It allows me to put my own life into perspective and appreciate the progress mankind has made over the centuries.
