This happens to me so often, going to a location and then the light being too harsh to document it the way I want. It always leaves me wondering if photographers actually plan their excursions based on lighting.. I fail at this haha.
Well, even with the intense light you captured some really great shots. The place looks really beautiful. Number #9 is my absolute favorite.. the mood and lighting of it is perfect, while the leaves look perfectly placed.. I really love that one actually.

Yeah light is essential for a good shoot. I'm sure pro photographers will always take it in consideration when planning their next trip.
Glad you enjoyed the place and the photos! It was a refreshing break from the city rush. The one with the leaves is somewhat staged haha, but still a nice shot. :D
