Photos When Stopping My Car In The Rain

I am trying my hand at photography. When I see the beautiful photography here on Steemit, I hesitate to post. But if I get any good at taking pictures, I will invest in a good camera. I shot these seven rainy day photos with a Canon Powershot - nothing fancy.

I had a torrid two weeks at work, so it was quite relaxing doing this today, despite the rain. I stayed in my car since the rain was steady and I didn't want to get my camera wet.

I was hoping to see some interesting effects in the rain. I think this last photo was the only one, when the downpour on the car's windshield gave a warping effect to the red vehicle and the buildings.

Let me know what you think. I am open to any and all advice. You won't hurt my feelings if you say, "Hey Mike, you better give it up and try something else." :-)
