RAINFALL OF METEOROS PERSEIDAS 2018 CAMP

Greetings to the entire community of Stemit, return with a new delivery which is a camp that I organized to observe the meteor shower persecuted with a group of people including children and adolescents.

How a meteor shower occurs?

The meteor shower occurs every year depending (from the constellation in which the astronomical phenomenon comes), our planet goes through the orbit of a comet that leaves a large trail of small particles the size of a grain of sand, less dimensions that she.

This phenomenon, better known or for many known as shooting stars, these particles when coming into contact with our atmosphere produces flashes of light, from a long colorful trail known as fireballs that can go at a speed of 35 kilometers per second, and the most fast at 71 kilometers per second, mostly from the human eye, gives the impression that the meteor will fall on the earth, fortunately not because the particle is very small and can not survive to cross the atmosphere, otherwise meteorites that do they survive the passage through our atmosphere since their particles are much larger and they manage to hit the ground leaving small ones to a large crater.

During most of the year, we can observe these spectacular astronomical phenomena, it starts from January and ends in December, here I leave an annual calendar of the most important meteor showers:

In this case, for the day of the camp we went to see the Perseid meteor shower, and as you will see in the table above, it comes from the constellation of Perseus that is in the North cardinal point.

As a datum: they must take into account that the meteor shower not all night can be seen with the naked eye in the constellation of origin, it can also be observed in other nearby constellations since during the previous month there are meteors lagged and for that reason they will be able to to enjoy the show.

Now, in the two days we were camping, I explained to all those who accompanied me to enjoy nature and the universe, this astronomical phenomenon that was quite a spectacle and see the happy face of the people who accompanied us has no words of explanation, in addition to be able to contemplate the Milky Way and the planets Venus, Mars (which is currently moving away from us), Jupiter and Saturn, in the series of photography that will come next, will be able to detail the magnitude of those who could all live and enjoy the most, including photographs with people and the background of the Milky Way, if you detail the astrophotographies that I will place, you can detail some meteors and satellites, also from the place that we camped.

Next, I will mention the techniques and instruments that I used to achieve astrophotography of the Milky Way together with the planets Mars and Saturn, I want to clarify that it is not easy, it has its complexity when it comes to focusing the sky, but with a lot of practice and simple teams, I guarantee to those who are amateur photographers like me, that they will have amazing results, and more if you are an amateur astronomer as I am.

Instruments used:
Camera: Canon T3
Tripod: Taurus:
Lens: 18mm - 55mm
ISO: 6400
Exposure time: 30 "(seconds)

I hope you enjoyed the photography and information so that everyone can put it into practice, as in the next few months observe the meteor showers, I assure you it is a unique show, until the next delivery.
