You captured that very well :) I sometimes visit Penzance in Cornwall UK and they have some docks like these. It's interesting to go looking at all the different boats moored there; wondering where they have been and what they have experienced on their journey.
Thanks :) Sometimes I think about having one too and just go exploring the seas with it, but that would be too nice...
It's definitely a nice ambition to hold on to :) I can see the appeal, being able to pick a direction and then sail away free of care :)
