Lviv. End Of The 19th Сentury. Edward Ignacy Trzemeski
Like I told before, sometimes I work with photomuseum.lviv.ua. Doing for them photo restoration and retouch of very old original photos or negatives from private collection Alex Korobov.
This photos by Edward Ignacy Trzemeski (1843-1905) a Polish photographer who works mainly in Lviv.
Dominican Monastery. Dominicans - "Dominic Kane" - God's dogs. Over one of the entrances is their emblem: a dog with a torch in the mouth. The most monstrous monastic order. And domino The right corner shows the horn of the house, which, in later times, was a brothel. There are very ambiguous bas-reliefs above the windows and doors.
Lviv Cathedral. Or, just, - KatEdra. The cornerstone under it was laid by the king Kazimierz Wielki.
It is being built for 120 years ... It's still unfinished. You can see the second unfinished tower.
