White German Shepherd....from a movie dog to (MY) reality

I remembered having watched one of the Disney’s animations called Bolt when I was a teen and was totally stunned by the beauty of the dog in the movie. Never thought that the breed really exists until I read an article about dogs in movies and I realized that the breed is called White German Shepherd.

Yes…..being a dog person, I have had 3 German Shepherd in my life before but nothing beats having a white one!

After moving to Romania for 3 months, I hunted for a farm that sells this breed. I found one, which was very near my apartment as if he has been sent from heaven to be mine. Everything went smoothly from reserving a puppy until we picked him up. I paid 550 Euro……I wish I owned BTC at that time and get the fiat, but never mind.

First night, I found out that my dog loves eating his own shit!!! That’s why I named him “Mudbutt” … you eating shit mofo….

Apart from experiencing being stopped on the street every 30 seconds so that people can ask what the name of your dog is, how cute he is, can they hug him, can they kiss him, and having to change my schedule to reach my destination 1.30 hr earlier, what I learned is my White German Shepherd is something ranging from a garbage chewing machine to a shit eater and a dirt introducer.

For example, he loves to eat garbage in the house and outside the house no matter how often I take him out for a walk and feed him with the best Royal Canin I can find in the market. There was even one day that I came home to find that my house became Miami beach, only that there was no trance music in the background, but my apartment was full of cat sand with his shit on it including the cats’!!!!!

But despite all the disgusting things that he has done, I realized that he is the most gentle and the kindest dog on earth.

He never growled to any dogs. He learns how to avoid conflict which is one of the characteristics I don’t even know how to achieve. He knows how to share toys and balls….and most of all, he is ready to forget and forgive (another characteristic that I don’t even know how to achieve…..)

Money can buy you a fine dog, but only love can make him wag his tail and lick your face.
