Greetings to the entire community, on this occasion, the photographs of the Basilica of Our Lady of the Valley.

This Basilica was built around 1894 and from September 8, 1955 it was declared the minor basilica of the Nueva Esparta State, since that date it is celebrated the patron saint festivities of the Virgen del Valle.

Every September 8th, the Virgin's descent is celebrated, where masses and religious acts are held in her honor as patroness of the Venezuelan Oriente and protector of the Margariteños fishermen.
