BIO:
Born August 21st 1979 in Plainview,Texas to Henry and San Juana Montelongo, Raised in Lebanon, Oregon where he began his love for photography by one yellow borderd magazine. "National Geographic". Seeing the black and white images of the stories that were told is what drove his passion to become a photographer.
Almost 20 something years later, looking again into the pages of "National Geographic" he decided to finally try what his passion was all along. Photography. Within the two years he enterd and show cased some of his work with "RAW: Natural Born Artists Austin" in Austin,Tx and Also a Competition held by "My Giving Tree" in Belton,Tx where he placed 2nd for his photo "The Leaf" .
Soon After, John decided to invest into himself, Upgrade.... Better camera, Better lenses, and hit the back roads of Central texas, finding old barns, houses, anything that looked like it had a story to tell and the best way he could tell it, was in Black and White photography. the very same that insipired him as a kid and to turn his dream into reality.
With just a little of 8 yrs as a professional photographer JOHN.JOHN has had
4 solo exhibits for his photography
2x spotlight artist featured Photographer
2x Editors Choice Featured Artist
Winner of the 2015 Texas State photo competition
And is now CEO/Founder of
Artist 2 Artist Showcase
An Art Show production That is Dedicated to finding and helping New artists from any genre to gain exposure. Mean while Supporting and bringing new eyes and ears to experienced Artists.
