I did a promotional shooting for an Austrian hotel and this is what happened

🤳🏻 This will be a very random and stiff post and I am truly sorry for that. I'll be talking about my day job for a bit and that's never a fun topic to talk about. 🤳🏻

Some months ago I was involved in a promo-shoot for a four-star hotel and it was hot. Literally.

You can guess which of these photographs on this flyer are mine.

Promotional photo-shoots like this one are pretty straightforward. You go and sit down with the client (who usually says something like "Oh, I don't have an idea about this! Just do anything!"), do some brainstorming, set the conditions and agree on a deadline.

You go and do the photoshoot with the models (in this case I worked with the hotel manager's daughters) some days later, work down the shooting schedule while secretly wishing to sit on your ass in a cool studio when you have to do all the work outside at almost 40 degrees with the sun burning down into your face all the time and your make-up melting away. But doesn't matter – Everybody had fun and the main photo on this flyer conveys the right message!

Other than that, you can win a vacation at Hotel Kohlerhof and yes, this is on the verge of paid promotion in a way. Uhhh... Is this what those influencer-kids do all the time?!
