We have this species way down here in Tasmania as well. Such a wide distribution.
they are very easy to approach when they eat :)
You kinda start to like the flies more knowing they also eat pollen and not just crap from the garbage bin and then come you your kitchen and poop on everything :p
they can be use full in a way
