Thank you to everyone who participated in the twenty seventh MyPictureDay photography challenge. You gave me a really hard time picking the winners. Read the following rules carefully to avoid being disqualified! MyPictureDay is about going out, taking pictures and share your passion. It's about telling stories and capture moments for us. Using old pictures is against the essence of this contest.
There were many good entries and I proudly present you the first three places and some honorable mentions! Let us know how your PhotographyDay looks like! Grab your camera (or mobile phone) and go out, take some shots and share them on Steemit! The best PictureDay post gets 20 SBD onto his account, the second place 10 SBD and the third place 5 SBD.

Those are really nice entries that got elected to be the best .Liked them all and will sure get my post ready by tomorrow and as for the contest it is indeed a great initiative and I will make sure to bring out the best in my images.

Whoa this was a veey good contest. The 1st place iamge was surely worth it. I mean just look at it, its just breathtaking. I would love to get an opportunity of praying in this mosque. Lovely pictures. I want to participate in the upcoming contest?.
Some time ago I was posting the series of photos from old military fortifications of Karosta, Latvia with some nice small houses moving into the sea due natural sea/sand erosion.
Actually the fortification system at this part of Baltic Sea coast was much more developed and just few kilometers to the north there is another part of it called "The Northern Forts"
