From Australian's tropics to Paris
That city was on my bucket list and I had perfect opportunity to cross out that point :)
She was my guide and I expected nothing from that trip. My mind was open. I didn't want to end up with the "Paris syndrome" ;)
I booked my flight ticket when I was still in Australia to be sure that that trip will be done and do not end up as a next never-succeed plan. The time wasn't perfect tho, because it was the beginning of January.
I met a 'bit' shock when I arrived to Europe. Top to 4-5 degrees Celsius it is definitely not what I used to have in the tropics...
Wearing 3-4 layers of some clothes instead of shorts and singlet....
But no more complaining!
Paris is beautiful! All the people there are in rush, but it's normal in all of the big cities. Architecture is amazing! Some places gave me a impression that I were time-travelling. Medieval tenements, small streets, little restaurants and on the other hand - huge structures, monuments, sculptures, cathedrals, Versailles, Louvre, Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, La Madeleine church, Sacre-Coeur Basilica, Place de la Concorde, Place Vendome
Im definitely in love in that city...
I spent there 8 days and every each of them were planned - this time not by me! :)
Laura as a Parisian citizen for more than a few years and what's more important - as a French - she knows where we had to go. Every day was filled from morning till evening. Best guide tour ever !
I will show you some photos from that amazing week :)
