Icy artistry in nature

Although we have had a mild winter without any major weather the overnight freezing temperatures higher in the Bradshaw Mountains made for some icy artistry along Lynx Creek.

The creek was flowing gently enough for the ice to grow into a large lattice-work of delicate crystals.

A few hours of sun and warming weather will soon enough reduce these delicate ice crystals to return to their liquid state.
