I will write about a well-known hill in our country and I will pin it up on the Steam Atlas map, I hope everyone will like it.

Today's hill is called "Lalmai Hill". The name has a lot in common with the hill and that is the color of the hill. The red color means that the hill is built with red soil. So because of the red soil, this hill has been named Lalmai hill. It is one of the hills in our country.

Lalmai hill is known as a historical and natural hilly area located in the southern part of Comilla district. It is located about 8-10 kilometers away from Comilla city, so it is reached by engine-driven vehicle from the city.

📍 Location
Comilla Sadar South and Lalmai Upazila
It is close to the Chittagong Highway.

⛰️ Characteristics of the hill
It is not a very high hill, but a hill or a small hill. The hill is full of green plants and natural environment

🏛️ Historical importance

Lalmai Pahar area was part of the ancient Samatat township. Found here—
Ruins of Buddhist Monastery
There are ancient bricks, statues and monuments. Buddhist Monastery is one of our historical places. That is why it is said that Lalmai Pahar is a historical natural hilly region.

There are several people living in the hilly region, they live here. There are hundreds of fruit trees in the hills here, among the trees there are kathal trees, sal trees, mango trees, basgach etc.

The beauty of the green trees of the hills and the red colored hills fascinates everyone. There is a historical place called Buddhist Monastery in this hill, which was a place of residence in ancient times.

The total area of Lalmai Pahar is 33 square kilometers, but now many roads have been cut through this hill and houses are being cut down for people to live in. In addition, many people are making money by selling the soil here. And the hill is gradually being destroyed, but the government is taking sufficient measures for the conservation of this hill.

This is a mountain where everything looks green when you climb to the top of the mountain and the beauty of the mountain fascinates everyone, every year thousands of visitors come to see it.

That day I also went to enjoy the beauty of the mountain, but what I liked the most was the houses on the mountain where people live. Every day these hill people climb up and down the high mountains and do various kinds of work to earn their living.

However, there is nothing so bad on this mountain, meaning there are no violent animals. So there is no fear of moving here. Visitors can easily enjoy this mountain here to their heart's content. There is a beautiful road to climb up the mountain where you can easily go up and down.

However, this mountain is very slippery during the rainy season, so this time is not suitable for traveling, it is suitable for winter. However, during the rainy season, nature is decorated in a different way, so the beauty of the mountains is in the rainy season, in which nature is very beautiful and enjoyable.

The fruits of the mountain fruit trees are quite delicious and sweet, so if you go there and do not eat the fruits, you will be deprived of getting the full pleasure of this mountain.

There is no ticket required to climb this mountain, but it is better to take a guided tour. Also, it is for everyone and it is safe to travel when there is sunlight.
