LET'S FOCUS ON VISITING and COMMENTING THOSE PUBLICATIONS, WHICH HAVE VERY LITTLE COMMENTS ....

Hi everyone

This is going to be quite a short post and I will go straight to the point.

Most of our PH core team members are being supported with some amount of STEEM on weekly basis. I wrote more about it here:
New account: @ph-coreteam and first few small announcements.

If you didn't read this post, then please spare a few minutes and check it out as well.

Right now I'm using already something around 4-5k STEEM per month to support our core team members. Those funds are coming to our community budget in form of beneficiaries and we're steadily growing that amount. Which is great.

I'm quite aware, that in the recent past that level of support wasn't very meaningful. After all, STEEM recently has been worth as little as 0,2$. So I couldn't really have high expectations towards the efforts of those of you, who are receiving mentioned weekly support.

However, currently, STEEM already increased greatly and I strongly believe, that sooner or later it will go above 1$. And let's face it -> it would simply mean, that "earning" 10steem in return for at least 10 valuable comments would be a great deal. Since it would be worth 10$.

I believe, that for many of us it would be a financial game-changer. Especially for those members from Venezuela, where opportunities to earn $$$ are very limited.

Acknowledging it brings me to the bottom line of this post:

Since received support matters more, then I would like to SHARE MY SPECIAL REQUEST to all of you:

  • while you're visiting PH community and scrolling through different topics, seeking one that would attract your attention -> please focus on visiting publications with very little comments.

It is crucial to understand, that it takes time to bring new valuable content creators to PH. It takes time to share with them all details, to explain how are we organized and encourage to set up beneficiary on their publications.
To understand, that some authors care about traffic and visitors and the way to retain them is by helping them out to reach out to the wider audience. Otherwise - we can easily lose some of them.

Unfortunately, it seems to me that many of us focus our efforts on reading, commenting, and engaging with people we already know and we recognize. Which is absolutely fine.
However, seeing quality publications with 2 comments (out of which one is from some bot) next to posts with 30-40 comments doesn't look right. Especially if a person with 2 comments is new in PH, and that one with 30-40 is already well established.

This will not the way to grow.

So allow me to repeat it one more time: please focus on visiting publications with very few comments. Engage with those authors, especially if they just started posting within PH.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

  • focus on posts that are having beneficiary to ph-fund setup, assuming that authors of those publications are familiar with our community goals, interests and vision. And that they are participating in our project economy.

PLEASE CONFIRM

There is no need to resteem this post. However, I would appreciate if each one of you would confirm reading this post. This way I will be aware of who I managed to reach with this publication already and who didn't read it yet.

Yours,
Piotr

Well said. I will like to increase my comments too. Yeah, I notice it too. But I think that's the benefits for early adopters. With time, the new comers will get those comments flying in. For now, I don't get much, I understand because I'm a bit new to Project Hope community. And I know if I dedicate my time to commenting, others will recognise me and start commenting on mine article too. I will dedicate more time. My advice, is to tell new comers like myself to comment on others contents and they will get comments too.

Hello @gifxlove

Excellent reflection!
This is how we should think, that's the right way.

You are a newcomer to our community and you felt the warmth of your welcome.
In the same way, we should receive others.
I hope you can increase the number of your comments.

Great strategy, I add totally you are right we must focus on attracting new members and growing as a community and this strategy is great

I have read it, I agree with what you say, we have to make room for everyone.

Reading confirmed, thanks for the information.

  • Confirmed!.

It is a good way to boost interchange in the community and above all to make beginners feel like they are in a beautiful place.

This is the true way to improve all the people to prosper ourselves as a squad and community.

I backing the idea and I know that shortly we will all evolve rapidly as a team!.

Yes, I understand the point, it is necessary to balance this aspect. I'm not complaining, I usually get a great amount of comments on my posts, and I see that others have little. The comments help to encourage the writer. I particularly do a lot of comments a week, usually about 70 or more. I will try to focus my efforts on these new users.

I usually get a great amount of comments on my posts,

Exactly. You're well established and your posts enjoy tons of comments. While posts of new members attract often very little attention.
