Take this for what it’s worth.
America is built on Christian values. However, America’s policies around the world, and here at home, do not reflect Christian values. It’s tough being a Christian in America these days. Your humble vagabond does not speak as a Christian. I know this because I read Christians, who follow the teachings of Christ, the apparent founder, or at least namesake of the religion.
Any honest American will tell you that the number-one religion in the United States is not Christianity.
It’s money. This is not an original thought. Americans worship money.
What does this word, “worship” mean, anyway?
American Heritage dictionary: The reverent love and devotion accorded a deity, an idol, or a sacred object. Two-thirds accurate. Unless money is a deity. Oh wait, it is. Money is named after who? The Goddess Juno Moneta of ancient Rome. The Roman goddess Juno, was the protectress of funds and money. She watched over while coins were being minted in her temple.
So there is a deity behind the all mighty dollar after all. This certainly is not Christian as this coin minting was going on in Rome 344 years before JC made the scene. Sounds very pagan. What do you think?
Update, America is not built on Christian values and it wasn’t built on Christian values. America was built on, quite literally, on the values of ancient Kemet, by way of “Freemasonry.”
Freemasonry has a bad rap in America because some humans believe it’s a religion. As a religion it challenges Christianity. It challenges Christianity because its values are truer to Universal values of time, life and measures than Christianity is. Christianity in American isn’t true to anything.
I am also not speaking as a Freemason. What I “know,” (using the term loosely), is that Freemasonry extends back millennia. Perhaps they have a single belief system, or perhaps they have many, like Theosophy. But this isn’t exactly the point.
What Christians have done since gaining state sponsorship from the Roman Empire, is to destroy rival belief systems, even when those beliefs were science-based. There’s a very long list that even includes the Knights Templar, and the repeated attempted destruction of Islam. We’d go so far as to accuse Occidental Christians of wanting to destroy Eastern Orthodox Christianity, especially in Russia. Is that any way for Christians to behave?
As usual, we digress. It’s Juno Moneta-ism, (not really, but okay), that’s really running this country into the ground. If you get my drift.

We’d rather see you get your shit together than crumble. Others would rather see Us crumble. So get your shit together America!
