I wish the best for you
I hope all your dreams come true
I hope you find the love you're looking for
I wish the best for you and more.
I give you thoughts of purity
There is no bitterness in me
I'll always hold you in the light
You are perfect in my sight.
It's just you're not the one for me
I can't will for you to be
My one and only for all time
I can't lie to make you mine.
You deserve much better than a kiss
Or some dark and sordid tryst
But that's all you'll have in store
If you try to make this more.
So go on now, say goodbye
I didn't mean to make you cry
I just want the best for you
And there's nothing I can do.
It's just you're not the one for me
