RE: One Tree from Four (original poetry)
The interlacing of divergent emotions is where the human experience becomes uniquely beautiful. Our cognitive abilities permit us to parse emotions many times over, to fine-tune our relationship with each strand in the bundle, to dither back and forth between the various emotions, to feel the tension between. Happiness is richer, more meaningful when it has a contrasting sense of potential loss, shades of darkness.
I can make no response to this observation. (in a good way)
