"Always Be My Song"

You were one hot mess
In a dress an attitude
To match
With your black powder parlance
And your lit cigarette
I knew that you'd
Always Be My song...

I had to get my fix
Even though you were
Too much for this
I could only ever seem to
Write you wrong
But I knew even then
That you'd Always Be My Song

As my melody searched
for conclusion
Your harmony displayed
The solution
But even now
I can only
Write you wrong
But I knew even then
That you'd Always Be My Song.
I know even still that no matter what I do
You'll Always Be My Song.
