Organizing Spoken Poetry and Music Event in Our Little Hometown

Season of love is fast approaching, and for a little knowledge my place is not familiar with poetry nights and open-mic. Poetry, poems and poets are only appreciated at school and in some social media platforms that is available in the Philippines.

So I decided to organize the event that would cater poetry with music and our very own young and talented poems.

Kasikas: A Night of Poetry and Music is the name of the poetry and musicevent. The venue will be at J Lechon Manok (A Local chicken roast house) in Molave Zamboanga del Sur.

Kasikas is a Cebuano Word of Noise. I chose this word because I think this is the way so that the common people can hear and appreciate. And it suits well for us young aspiring poets in this town.
