100 Days Of Poetry Challenge - Day 12 - The World At War
Hello Steemians and welcome to 100 days of poetry challenge organized by @d-pend. We're live here in day 12. Today's poem is talking about the world today...
Poem Title: The World At War
No water in this land.
Wish me well.
I fee the unpleasant smell
Of an unending war
Spreading to the South
From the Middle East
Where each blast roars
Like an angry beast.
What are the all these killings for?
One blast's body count lasts for hours.
Why preach peace with a gun in hand?
Different religion
In the same region,
Each with a legion
Serving many masters
Divergently like scattered stars.
Yet just a single universe.
And we all read the love verse.
Dear mother earth, fix us a date,
To your end before it's too late.
Readers Note:

Well achieved the goal, @onenecha. Your poetic creation is a beautiful revelation of painful themes: war, water scarcity, religious discrimination, lack of love. Many bad, well-spoken, well-arranged things create a powerful poetic unity. Good job!
This is to inform on the behalf on @d-pend that your poetry is seen for 100 day challenge. Keep up the good work. :)
