Background: This piece was written while I was dating my wife. It was written in the “honeymoon” stage of our relationship. Now 8 years later I reflect on this piece that is the epitome of where we were then. Spending 3-5 hours chatting on the phone, having weekly excursions, we had no distractions beyond each other. Presently, we have jobs, a 3 year old son, academic studies, hobbies and we manage to be in each others company while we are busy.
