I am not exactly sure where the top of Zen mountain is :), but in the lower plains of that mountain it seems to have been a rough year for many - including but not limited to the citizens of the United States. Your poem resonates with me, but I am likely projecting my own stuff onto your words. I suppose that is what makes good poetry. Job well done.
