The instability started in the university on January 11. On that day, a group of students from the University of Dacca went to the movement to cancel the affiliation of seven colleges. When they took position in front of the VC office on January 15, BCL leaders and activists threatened them. At that time, some students were accused of persecuting the BCL activists. On January 17, protesters blocked the Proctor for 4 hours for protesting against the withdrawal of a group of protesters and seven colleges affiliated to demanding the election of Dakshu, a few left-wing groups, on 17 January. In this incident, 50-60 unidentified students were sued in the Shahbagh Police Station. Since then, this movement has been going on.
