Conservative Brief intentionally misquoting the Vice President
I regularly bash on Conservative Brief because they are absolute trash when it comes to news. Most news is garbage and a pack of lies these days but CB takes it to an entirely new low. They will use pictures unrelated to the words they put in a headline to intentionally confuse their readers - who let's be fair probably aren't the most intelligent people anyway - and they regularly gaslight conservatives with statements that are not even remotely true but written in such a way to be libel-proof.

The most untrustworthy face in conservative news
This most recent post is a fantastic example of the sort of deception that they use on a regular basis over there.

Wow! that seems like a pretty bold statement on the part of JD Vance right? Surely this will stoke some fires on both sides of the aisle since he is just coming straight out and saying that the left is cheating in elections.
There's just one problem though. Mr. Vance never said this in the interview with Joe Rogan. Joe Rogan said it and if you just watch the clip you will see that after what has to be an intentional delay of a few minutes or so.
Look at the wording though. Technically they are not attributing the below statement to JD but they imply that this is the case even though they know damn well that he didn't say it.
I wonder how many people are wandering around conservative circles at the bar saying that "JD Vance said Los Angeles mayoral race was stolen!"
This can invite a wonderful array of misguided conclusions as well and I would imagine that this quote is already making the rounds on various IG's and other social media because the average person doesn't even bother to check.
I get it ok? We all have somewhat diminished attention spans thanks to the advancements in technology. I too suffer from it and will abandon a clip if it is more than say, 5 minutes long.
The problem with this is that these "news" organizations are very aware of this and take advantage of it. At the same time though, they are able to insulate themselves from lawsuits because of grammar, which unfortunately is something that I think most people are not terribly well-versed in these days anyway.
In the interview, which I only watched a few minutes of, I suppose it would be reasonable to say that JD Vance did actually get "RIGHT to the point" in the discussion, but the problem is that he never actually said what is being attributed to him in a roundabout sort of devious way.
If you are the sort of person that can suffer though 3 hours of a Joe Rogan podcast then here is the link where you can watch it for free.
I don't personally dislike Joe Rogan, but 3 hours of anything other than an original Star Wars trilogy marathon is too long in my book.
In the meantime if you or anyone you now takes Conservative Brief seriously and sees them as anything other than peddlers of intentional misinformation, please stop this from continuing. I know that finding real news is basically impossible these days, but you may as well avoid the most guilty parties in the meantime.
