'Julian Assange Seminars' Given by Activists at Venezuela's D.C. Embassy with U.S. Coup Forcing Staff to Leave

in #politics6 years ago (edited)

Regime change is desired in many places by the U.S. empire, especially with the U.S.-backed coup taking place in Venezuela. They want Maduro out and Guaido in, and they employ their covert warfare to try to make it happen.

The U.S. empire is keeping imperialism alive and well with their regime change operation in Venezuela. So far they have achieved many targets

  • make the economy scream
  • finance the opposition
  • sabotage the peace process
  • call leader a dictator
  • interfere with election
  • attack infrastructure
  • exploit human needs

That list comes from the activists who are uniting with the embassy workers in the Georgetown situated Venezuelan embassy in Washington, DC. Two points they mark for regime change ,which the U.S. has not done yet are:

  • assassinate president
  • install puppet government

The goal is to install a puppet government, and the only thing standing in their way is the current President Maduro who won't step down by their command. The result of recent regime changes are also listed by the activists, and the outcome isn't very favorable for the people living inthose coutnries.

To put pressure on the existing government of Venezuela, the State Department has told employees on the embassy they must vacate by April 24. But embassies are supposed to be the sovereign territory of the nations they represent. The U.S. throws out the sovereignty of other nations when it suits them, so why would they respect the embassies sovereignty within the borders the U.S.

Activists have been in the embassy for the past two weeks, working with the diplomatic staff. They call themselves Embassy Protection Collective. They work during the day, and hold educational events at night and sleep on sofas.

One of the educational events has been to teach seminars on Julian Assange. Others include "US foreign policy in Africa, the history of Venezuela, and update on Honduras and El Salvador."

Former CIA officer, John Kiriakou, who is a whistleblower and has defended Assange all along, also showed up on April 23 to give a talk to the embassy staff and the activists. His insider view of the U.S>. regime change operations will surely have been appreciated.

Why are they there at all? They are fighting off the state-side U.S.-backed coup attempt by the Venezuelan opposition to overthrow and take over the embassy from the staff. Earlier last month on March 18, representatives of Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido took over a building in Washington, DC. How did they pull it off? With the help of local U.S. law enforcement agencies, of course, and the Secret Service.

A coordinated effort was also sprung in New York, as opposition took over the Venezuelan Consulate there. Article 22 of the 1961 Vienna Conventions on Diplomatic Relations states that diplomatic premises are "inviolable". This was a severe breach of the common terms nations agree to across the world. Instead of the U.S. doing what it agreed to, protect the premises against any "intrusion, disturbance of the peace or impairment of its dignity", they helped the takeover and breach of sovereignty by an unelected opposition.

What's going on is the creation of a parallel government backed by the Trump-administration who then takes over diplomatic premises. And that is illegal. Only one other nation has allowed the travesty to occur as well, which is Costa Rica. Everyone else int he world, the elected government of Maduro's administration continue to occupy their positions. And that's even in coutrnies that "recognized" Guaido as the "new president".

Thank you for your time and attention. Peace.

Well, I live in the middle East, where there is a lot of oil and I am telling from a first persons point of view, that its all about getting that crude oil from these countries, nearly all the governments in the Middle East are puppet governments that are used by the US to extract oil, if one of these leaders dares to go against them, guess what happens.

  • The leader is a dictator
  • The leader is accused of Human right violation
  • Regime change is supported.

etc etc. the list goes on, since Venezuela has large oil reserves, this is what is happening there, I know we have been living in a strange world, which is going from being strange to stranger.

Yup, right on. Oil is to the imperialist empire as sex is to horny boys.

Exactly nothing unusual here.
