Totally agree if you're not comfortable with firearms, you absolutely should not be the one who would carry. Maybe there are other teachers that are proficient and maybe they already conceal carry in their life outside of school.

I'm not certain of many teachers proficient in close quarters combat, but I imagine they do exist.
