Nice written article. The army is still loyal to Maduro's government, but if the government is going broke and can't pay the soldiers salaries, I wonder for how long they'll be loyal. Recently the USA applied new sanctions on Venezuela, which i believe increases the chances of a coup d'etat and therefore decreases the chances of a civil war.
Soldiers sell their soul to the government for any type of pay they gave them it could be houses, cars, food and power. Venezuela is actually a Drug state, soldiars move alot of drugs and money so they will defend their power and government with their lives.
Many years ago, a dictator in Venezuela did the same; 20 days later he was out of the power.
Venezuelan people wont let anyone to stole our country!
