According to coin cap there are 239,154,478 steem in circulation, so Poloniex have 24,000,000 or so steem meaning they own about 10% of all Steem. Just a thought @jerrybanfield but how about a post tracking where most of Steem is held or used?
Oh that steem in poloniex is held by polonix users! They can still buy and sel steem on poloniex they just cant deposit or wiothdrawl!
its not "stuck" the poloniex users are free to buy or sell that steem ofr BTC or ETH ....whats cool is that people ARENT selling it because its up 24% on poloniex! meaning people on poloniex are rushing to buy steem! ALL that money in poloniex can at ANYTIME be POURED into steem/SBD!!!!
