The Creature That Lives Inside Your Eyelids

This creature is called Demodex, and it lives inside the eyelids of every human.

They come out at night while you are sleeping, and they walk on your face. It's males and females mate on your face, the females lay 20 to 24 eggs inside each hair of your eyelid.

The job of this insect is to eat your dead skin every day so that new skin can be formed; that is, while you are sleeping, it performs a natural cosmetic process.
