Information is power.

Information is power.

We begin by remembering that on February 19, Donald Trump announced on his social network that he was ordering the Pentagon, through the secretary of defense and other federal agencies in general, that all those who had information about extraterrestrials, aliens, unidentified aerial phenomena that are now called UAP, before they were called UFOs, are now called UAP, to locate all that information and release it.

He did so by arguing that there is tremendous public interest in the matter and he also said that this is extremely interesting and important, obviously it is important, if they really have information that we are not alone in the universe, it would be one of the great news of the century, of the millennium and well, since the invention of metals or the wheel or fire of that level or greater.

The curious thing is that this arose as a kind of rebound or sting or jealousy, this arose shortly after, that statement by Trump arose shortly after Barack Obama spoke on a podcast saying that “aliens are real”, but well, he said it as a statistical concept of life in the universe, without giving data about who they are or where they come from, come on, the same thing that most of us would say about well, “if there is a possibility that there are aliens, it is possible that there are other civilizations out there.” Many scientists believe that yes, there must be, we do not know if there are many or if we are the only ones in our galaxy, that is the big doubt, but it is evident that the 2 billion galaxies that exist in the known universe, according to a review that was published in 2016 by a team of researchers led by Christopher Conseline.

According to these data, two billion galaxies, it would be very strange if there were not an intelligent civilization in any of them, as Carl Sagan said, it would be a “waste of space.” The point is that Trump listened to Obama's statements and accused him of revealing secrets, classified information, although well, it is an accusation that has no basis, but the curious thing is that, instead of following that path, with a formal accusation before the judge, according to his argument he had revealed a secret piece of information, because instead of following that path of complaining about having revealed a secret piece of information, what Trump did was an overlay.

If Obama had supposedly revealed one secret, Trump set out to reveal them all, all those related to aliens. There's some logic to it, right? but it is very good for us and when I say for us, I include, from the most extreme fans of the OFNI phenomenon, UAPs that it is called now. Even the most academic scientist who lives locked in his study analyzing data, this whole spectrum is going to benefit because a gigantic amount of data is going to be released.

The point is that we are on March 22. Has anything interesting been discovered? The answer is no, this is going to take time, months or years, and do not think that it is going to reveal any secrets that could put the security of the United States at risk or classified high-tech material, because some say that there may be alien ships or remains of destroyed ships out there. If it had something high tech, they wouldn't reveal it either, I think. But whenever the chest of military secrets is lifted, very interesting things end up being discovered.

The US military works with the best equipment there is, the best satellites, submarines, radars, the most powerful computers, a technology that is always several years or decades more advanced than what we civilians, normal mortals, use. To this we must add that not only is data collected from the territory of the United States, which is already large, the United States has some 750 military bases and installations in more than 80 countries in the world, so its capacity to collect data from everything type is global, it is brutal.

If we put together all the universities in the world with their technological equipment and research centers, it would not reach the power that the United States army has, land, sea and air and space now because they also have the space section to collect data at a global level, therefore, any database that is released will be "delicatessens", "haute cuisine", "a delicacy for any scientist", whether a researcher of extraterrestrial life or a researcher of terrestrial or underwater phenomena, because there are also extraordinary events that occur under the sea and that we still know very little about them.

On previous occasions, data was released that allowed us to know extraordinary phenomena such as superrays and on this occasion more data could be provided on very rare things such as terrestrial gamma rays, asteroid and fireball explosions, which would give us a more reliable statistic of how many impact the Earth each year. Strange plasma phenomena, thermal fluctuations in the atmosphere, will also surely have incredible and very precise data on underwater volcanoes, earthquakes and events that occur in the depths, current flows, and many more.
