It all starts with a curiosity; Artificial interstellar objects.

We continue with the topic of interstellar objects, objects in the plural, because we not only have to talk about 3I/Atlas, we also have to talk about other artificial interstellar objects. We know of at least five, they are of human origin, obviously, Voyager 1 and Voyager 2, Pioneer 10 and Pioneer 11 and New Horizons.

They are objects that are on their way out of the solar system and will end up becoming artificial interstellar objects and this tells us that any technological civilization that has the capacity to travel in space ends up generating interstellar objects, either by ships that it commands and end up lost outside its system, or space debris, or catastrophic remains of some accident, but they end up generating those objects.

The question is, how numerous can these artificial objects be? we could detect them. Is there any work plan to detect them or would it be impossible to differentiate an artificial object from a natural object? A Voyager in a million years will continue traveling through space, but it will no longer have any type of activity and will only be a piece of metal. However, it will continue to carry the Voyager disk, which they estimate can last about 1 billion years.
