It all starts with a curiosity; sun flares

The sun suffered a solar flare on November 4. This flare expelled an injection of coronal mass, which is a cloud of plasma, energetically charged particles.

This event some may associate with the 3I/Atlas relationship. The origin is in the sunspot complex 4272 that exploded on that morning of November 3.

The flare was M5 class, the explosion lasted several hours and launched that bright coronal mass ejection into space.

The flare is dangerous because it can have a direct effect on Earth. In fact, NASA and NOA have launched a G1 level solar storm alert, the most moderate, of course, on the scale and is not abnormal. Because? Because class M flares are, so to speak, second division flares. The most powerful, the first division ones, are class X.

We are also in a time of maximum solar activity within the 11-year cycle, so we can see flares of this level, level M, practically one a week.
