These photos were manipulated or retouched by national security to make them look worse than they really could have been taken. In reality, the photo shown is the one that was published and made known about these missions to the moon, but in reality the quality of the photos was different.
The difference is abysmal. And why did they do this? This was known in 2018, so it took a while, this was known because the cameras that NASA used were a version of spy cameras, they were the cameras used by the Samos satellites designed to monitor the Soviet Union at that time. The problem was that if NASA published photos with too much resolution, if they published these photos, they could get them, because the Soviets could easily calculate the optical capacity of the American spy satellites and also the precision with which the satellites could send those photos from space, because of course, not only taking the photo, it is also sending it by radio from orbit. to Earth, because at that time they were still used, in the 50s especially airplanes were used.
The planes took high-quality photos, but they landed and then developed them, the problem is that the satellites could not land with the photographic roll, they had to retransmit that information to the ground and of course, how quality can that transmission be? The Soviets did not know exactly what the quality of the transmission of the photos that the Americans took from space could be, and the quality was extraordinary.
That is why they manipulated the photos and what they showed was something very different, this was known in 2018, there is a detail of precision to be specific, in this 2018 photo computers and modern technology were used, but that was used at NASA because they were missing the equipment from the 60s, they were no longer there, they did not exist, but the reproduction based on the original footage of the original transmission was just as the real image would have been in high quality in 1966.
This is about the executive order to declassify secret information and in any case the information they reveal may be interesting, that perhaps within what they declassify, that was somewhere forgotten or closed or top secret within what they declassify perhaps there is something interesting, that is why they are going to be attentive to everything that is going to come out.
