Figure has just announced a historic partnership with Catalyst Brands, one of the largest retail groups in the United States. The agreement will bring Figure 03 robots into real logistics operations within distribution centers responsible for supplying thousands of stores across the country. At the center of this capacity is Helix, the artificial intelligence system developed by Figure herself, responsible for interpreting the environment, making decisions and coordinating the robot's movements in real time, which is why many specialists see this moment as a watershed for humanoid robotics.
From now on, success will not be measured by the ability to impress in carefully produced videos, but by the ability to generate consistent economic value in real operations, yes or when these machines manage to navigate unpredictable environments, work alongside people and maintain productivity for months or years, it will show that the agreement between Figure and Catalyst Brands represented more than just the beginning of a transformation.
