Full control of drone swarms.

This could completely change the future of swarm robotics.

Controlling a robot is already difficult, now imagine controlling dozens of them at the same time at high speed and without collisions, and it is precisely this limitation that the University of Cambridge and the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology of Japan decided to solve, what they created can completely change the future of swarm robotics. develop a system capable of coordinating multiple robberies by performing extremely fast and complex maneuvers in small spaces without colliding.

Normally, when several robots need to move together, the calculation of routes grows exponentially, the more robots, the more difficult it becomes to avoid collisions and there comes a point where the system simply cannot handle it in real time, but this new approach combines two worlds, the continuous physics of the real world with a faster and more efficient search system, this allows calculating trajectories for dozens of thefts at the same time, almost instantaneously.

The system not only analyzes where the robot is, but also how it is moving, speed, force, inertia, everything goes into calculation, it is what researchers call a psychodynamic approach. The system was tested with 40 robberies in a small space, including drones and ground robots, all moving simultaneously at high speed, executing complex maneuvers without any collision.
