More Investment in Artificial Intelligence.

Towards physical AI.

In China, the company Limex Dynamics invested more than $200 million in a single round to create robots with integrated intelligence, machines and devices for the body and brain as a single system. This way you can connect to distant servers, the robot itself will participate in movement, balance, etc. Contact with objects and interaction with the environment are the specialists in the matter, and above all artificial intelligence.

At the center of this e-strategy is a platform designed by Cosa, described by Limex as the nervous system for humanoid robots, the COSA functions as a cognitive operating system capable of controlling the robot's entire body in real life, arms, legs, torso, balance and object balance manipulation. The company compares this architectural design to the human brain, the brain region is responsible for coordinating fine and fluid movements.

This means that the robot does not only execute pre-programmed sequences, it understands the context of what it is doing. This level of autonomy is the result of the integration between COSA and the company's second major technology, the Tron 2 platform, a modular system of limbs, joints and torso that allows different types of robberies to be assembled from the same base.

The main Limex humanoid called Oli is 1.65 cm tall, weighs about 55 kg and has arms with 7 degrees of freedom each, capable of carrying up to 10 kg and can already overcome obstacles, walk on moderately irregular terrain, recognize small objects and grab them with precision.

In a recently released video, 18 OLI robots appear emerging from shipping containers on their own. getting up, processing information and executing synchronized movements, is a clear portrait of where robotics is heading, no more machines specialized in a single task, but general platforms capable of learning new behaviors over time.

For Limex Dynamics, this funding is not just about building better robots, it is about accelerating the creation of a new type of intelligence, an intelligence that is born from the body, that learns by walking, wandering, balancing and touching. If this path continues to advance at the current pace, the future of robotics will not be defined by machines that only obey, but by machines that understand the world through their own experience.

When that brain begins to exist, the body also needs to accompany it and that is where the physical limits begin to fall.
