Robots working in a factory with near-perfect efficiency




A Chinese manufacturer decided to put its machines through the toughest test possible.


A real production line operating in front of cameras for several days in a row. The result surprised even the experts: after nearly a week of continuous operation, the robots achieved a 99.99% success rate in performing industrial tasks, demonstrating that physical intelligence is beginning to reach a new level of maturity.


To prove that its systems were ready for this scenario, AgiBot live-streamed the operation of its robots at an electronics factory in Nanchang, dispelling any suspicion of carefully staged demonstrations. During the test, the fleet accumulated more than 64 hours of continuous work, performing 64,828 operations across four distinct industrial workflows. Over that period, the robots participated in the production and inspection of 17,625 products, maintaining a success rate of nearly 99.99%.


Much of this performance is attributable to the AgiBot G2, a mobile manipulator that combines humanoid arms with a wheeled base, increasing travel speed without compromising precision. Equipped with edge computing vision, it identifies microdefects in electronic components and automatically adjusts the force applied to handle delicate parts without causing damage. The results also reflect the speed with which the company is expanding its production capacity.


According to AgiBot, the jump from 5,000 to 10,000 manufactured robots took just 3 months—a pace far exceeding that seen in the platform’s early generations. As a result, the company is now among the global leaders in the sector and reinforces the trend that humanoids are moving beyond experimental projects to become large-scale industrial production equipment.
