Capturing scenes and movement using drones, human camera operators, or selfie sticks was always the standard, but the startup decided to flip that logic by creating a camera that neither flies nor needs to be handheld—it simply runs alongside you. Unveiled in 2026, Beni is a small autonomous robot designed to keep pace with people at high speeds, dodge obstacles, jump over steps, and capture cinematic footage without human intervention.

The concept emerged to address common limitations of action cameras: drones have limited battery life, are noisy, and face restrictions in indoor environments, while handheld stabilizers require someone to constantly follow the subject. Beni eliminates these constraints by acting as a fully autonomous ground-based camera operator.

Its mobility system combines high-speed wheels with articulated legs that function as an intelligent suspension system; this architecture allows it to reach speeds of nearly 29 km/h, keep up with cyclists, runners, and skaters, and jump over obstacles roughly 25 cm high. Should it fall during a maneuver, the robot uses its legs to regain its balance and continue recording without human assistance.
