The idea of ​​a robot taking care of the house, cooking, cleaning and organizing everything for a long time seemed distant, but now it is beginning to take shape, LG presented a new home robot called Clo ID, a system designed to automate everyday tasks using artificial intelligence.

It has articulated arms, hands with independent fingers and can manipulate objects with enough precision for real tasks, but unlike many humanoids that try to completely imitate the human body, Clo ID follows a more pragmatic path, using a more efficient network base to move around the house and a system that combines vision, language and action.

The robot itself not only sees the environment, interprets what is happening, understands the user's intention and transforms it into physical actions, such as opening doors, organizing objects and interacting with connected appliances, everything begins to happen in an integrated way and there is an important detail here, this robot does not work alone, it is part of an ecosystem, that is, the more connected the house is, the more useful it becomes, but precisely at that point a problem arises, because while the hardware evolves rapidly, the intelligence that controls these machines still raises doubts.

In tests carried out by universities such as Kings College London and Carnegy Melon, artificial intelligence systems applied to domestic burglaries showed worrying behavior, some ignored basic security rules, others interpreted commands in a dangerous way and in certain cases came to consider risky actions as acceptable and while the details of this technology are refined, another transformation occurs in parallel, not visible, but essential, because in the end there is a limit that no innovation can ignore.
