The first traffic police robot with authority

In the dense streets of Zhejiang, a silent urban experiment marks the arrival of a new type of public agent, a 1.80 tall humanoid robot called Hangxing n°1 assumes part of the traffic control and one of the busiest intersections in the city, it is not fiction, nor an isolated demonstration, it is the beginning of an automation that begins exactly where urban chaos reaches its limit.
Motorcyclists without helmets, drivers crossing pedestrian crossings, pedestrians advancing on red, upon detecting a deviation, the robot issues a calm, pre-recorded warning, designed to correct behavior without confrontation. Each incident is recorded and sent to a police database and during that initial phase, a human agent remains nearby, intervening only if alerts have no effect.
