Fine, Choreographed Musical Performance in My Neighbourhood – Portrait Photography

This lovely young Chinese lady, nicknamed "Cary,"  performed at a “music pub”  during her year-long stay in Singapore.

Pink, green, red

One evening, I walked past the front of the pub. This young lady had just stepped outside for a cigarette, wearing pink-frame glasses, a day-glo green top, and red skirt. We chatted a bit, and after her smoke, I followed her in. 

By the time I left a few hours later, I had become friends with Cary, who was not only beautiful and interesting, but also a talented and accomplished musician / performer.

Before you say good-bye … 

As she neared the end of her stay in Singapore, she staged an evening-long farewell show, in which she was the main performer. I went, expecting her to sing a few good songs, as usual.   

Instead, Cary put on a professional, superbly choreographed, and very entertaining show. It involved 4 costume changes and set changes, as well as “character changes”  on the part of Cary. Each segment was a great performance in its own right.    

Considering that the show was staged at a small music pub on a side street in my neighborhood, just down the hill from my home, it was truly an amazing show by a wonderfully talented and creative musician. Location – Singapore, on Google Maps
