Pete Harrigan took a crack at US real estate on a square-footage basis, and compared that to PlanB's cross-asset stock/flow model. The results are pretty interesting!

It makes me wonder about unusually high turnover, like say in a financial crash, would affect the stock/flow ratio, bringing down the market.
