Singing Contest — A Song That Brings Back a Memory
Hello everyone in the Post Planet Community.
I am happy to join this week's Voice of Talent singing contest. When I saw the topic, “A Song That Brings Back a Memory,” I already knew the song I wanted to use. The song is A Cry for Help by Ebuka.
There is something about this song that I cannot really explain. Anytime I listen to it, I start thinking about myself and my past. Some things I have done before come to my mind, and I begin to ask myself some questions. Nobody is perfect, and I also know that I have made mistakes in life. But sometimes we need something that will make us stop and think about the way we are living.
That is one thing this song does for me.
When I sing this song, it can make me very emotional. There are times I even start crying while singing it. It is not because something bad is happening at that moment. It is just the way the song touches my heart and makes me remember some things about my life.
Another thing I like about the song is that it encourages me to worship God. After listening to it, I sometimes feel very calm inside. Honestly, there are moments when I feel like I am no longer thinking about the things around me. I just feel close to God.
The funny part is that after listening to the song, I sometimes don't even feel like doing anything bad. I just want to stay on the right path and do what is pleasing to God. That feeling is one of the reasons I chose this song for this contest.
For my entry, I decided to sing the song with my own voice. Actually this was a life performance of me on stage where I went for a program when I was leaving in the worship seption this was exactly the song that I sang but I muted it because of some background noise and other things and added this song why I was editing it..
